As you travel down Broadway here in Sedalia, you pass several houses that are lit up bright with Christmas lights and decorations. If you travel a bit further, you will see one house that isn't feeling the Christmas spirit at all, you may go as far as saying that the biggest Scrooge in America happens to live right here in Sedalia...

The Northeast portions of the country got hit pretty hard with snow in the last couple of days. The NFL had to make a decision to play the Buffalo Bills vs New York Jets game or postpone it or move it. You may have heard Buffalo was slammed this week with a snowstorm the likes of which you don't usually see outside the Arctic Circle. One NFL player used the opportunity to play with his kids.

We had a little bit of an early weather scare this past weekend.  We were told anywhere between three to five inches of snow were coming!  Luckily, we here in Pettis County only had a light dusting, but other places in the state weren't so lucky.

Well, through all this crazy weather, there's been a lot of cancellations.  And with that, came a lot of disappointment all throughout our area.  Well, we have some great news! The Women’s Service League of Sedalia has rescheduled the 17th Annual Cupid’s Ball, Journey to Oz , for Saturday, March 29, 2014.

We've all gotten very very tired of this winter weather. I'm sure you have had to shovel, dig, and do other tedious outdoor work to deal with all the snow we've had. There's a 30-second video going around online of a little kid shoveling snow, and you can tell he's completely fed up with it.

A good run in the snow? Not quite.
