The City of Sedalia has activated the EMERGENCY SNOW ROUTES effective Saturday, November 15, 2014 at 6 a.m. on the basis of the weather forecast of snow.

Parking is prohibited on the streets designated as Emergency Snow Routes. People living on emergency snow routes are required to remove their vehicles from the street to assist street crews.

EMERGENCY TOWING: Please note that the Street Department will determine which streets require immediate clearing. When this occurs, the Street Department will contact the Sedalia Police Department and emergency towing will begin in the area requested. To assist your city and to save yourself tow fees, the City of Sedalia is asking residents of the snow route to be proactive and remove your vehicles prior to 6:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2014.

VIOLATOR'S AUTOMOBILES WILL BE TOWED.

The parking prohibition will be in effect until terminated by announcement or the street is substantially clear of snow and ice from curb to curb for the length of the entire block. A map of the Emergency Snow Routes may be viewed here.
