Dukes & Boots

Dukes & Boots in Sedalia was the place to be this Halloween. I was there doing a live broadcast for the Halloween party and costume contest, and man, was it amazing.

This Friday (Sept. 27) is the Grand opening of the new Dukes and Boots in Tipton! The original Dukes in Sedalia is one of my favorite places ever, and the new Tipton location has even more to offer!

It's the biggest show in country music: Better Country KIX 105 and Dukes and Boots want to send you there.

A lot of people are doing some amazing "homegrown" grassroots efforts to help the victims of the Oklahoma tornado disaster. We have been bringing you the ones we know of on the air to help with the cause.

Friday night proved to be a VERY fun night for '80s Retro fans that packed Dukes & Boots for another appearance from the '80s tribute band "Member's Only."

No matter how old your are, everyone can appreciate some good '80s rock music. The '80s tribute band Members Only will play at Dukes and Boots on Friday, April 26, and you have the chance to win free tickets. To get you ready for the show, here are some of the best '80s guilty pleasure songs.

Kids, I'm sure you've heard us talking about this big Kenny Chesney contest we're doing with Dukes & Boots.  Well, not only are we taking care of your flight, hotel, dinner and the show, but we're also giving you some spending cash for your trip.  So I thought, why not blue sky a little and talk about what you could do with that cash in Seattle?

The St. Patrick's Day party at Dukes & Boots was my final party appearance for KIX 105.7.  There were a lot of people dressed in green and pitchers of green beer flowed.  I made sure to have a large helping of the corned beef and cabbage special too. There will be plenty to do in Sedalia for St. Patrick's Day.  Most places are observing the day everyone is Irish on Saturday the 16th.  It all starts with a parade.

Thom Shepherd, Wynn Varble and Coley McCabe put on a great show out at Dukes & Boots on Wednesday, Jan. 30.  Not only did we get to enjoy some Nashville country classics, but we were able to raise $1431 to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital with the auction at the show.  Thanks to everyone who came out for the show, and thanks to Kevin Walker for sharing these great photos of the co
