Early Wednesday morning, Officers responded to a noise complaint in the 600 block of West 4th Street. When Officers arrived, contact was made with a subject who was intoxicated by narcotics. After identifying the subject and checking her information with Dispatch, it was revealed she had two active warrants for her arrest. Amy Rachelle Naylor, 40, Homeless, was arrested for her City of Sedalia Failure to Appear warrant on original charges of Trespassing, and a Pettis County Failure to Appear warrant on original charges of Operating a Motor Vehicle Without a License. Naylor was transported to the BRHC for medical treatment, and then to the Pettis County Jail. Naylor was booked in pending a cash bond of $100 and a cash or surety bond of $1500.


 

Monday evening, Officers responded to the Police Station lobby for a found property report. Craig R. Guffin reported he had found a bag of bullets in his trash can in the 1000 block of South Harrison Avenue. Guffin brought the bullets to the Police because he did not want them in his trash can. The bullets were placed into evidence to be discarded.


 

Sedalia Police responded to the 200 block of South Quincy Avenue Monday morning to investigate a burglary report. When Officers arrived, they spoke with Marcus M. McKnight. McKnight stated someone entered his unlocked apartment and stole a phone from his bedroom. At the time of the report, a suspect has not been located. The phone has not been recovered, but it has been entered into the MULES database as stolen.

Tuesday evening, Sedalia Police responded to a possible theft in the 1300 block of South Ohio Avenue. At the completion of the theft investigation, no evidence was found a theft had taken place. Further during the investigation, it was determined an intoxicated male subject made a monetary agreement with an intoxicated female in exchange for sexual acts. Elias Morales Canuto, 44, of Sedalia, was arrested for Patronizing Prostitution. Angela L. Bradley, 39, of Sedalia, was arrested for Prostitution.


 

Officers met with an unnamed subject on Tuesday morning. A set of keys were brought into the lobby of the Police Department, after they were found by an unknown road. The keys were entered into evidence as found property.


 

Tuesday evening, Officers responded to the 1300 block of East 4th Street for a found property report. A bicycle was found that did not belong to any of the residents. It was unknown where the bicycle came from. The bicycle was taken to the Sedalia Police Department to be held for safe keeping.
