Monday night, Officers responded to the Hubbard Park, 601 North Missouri Avenue, in reference to a suspicious male subject. Officers made contact with the male subject, and found him to have a Failure to Appear warrant form Lafayette County on original charges of Failure to Register a Motor Vehicle. James Marlon Curd, 29, of Sedalia, was arrested on his warrant pending a cash only bond of $100. Curd also had a Failure to Appear warrant from the city of Sweet Springs on original charges of Operating a Motor Vehicle Without Maintaining Financial Responsibility. Curd was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked.

Monday morning, Officers were dispatched to the Police Station lobby in reference to a found property report. A wallet was found near the Smith Cotton Junior High School, in the area of East 9th Street and South Massachusetts Avenue. The wallet was placed into evidence for safekeeping.
