KIX 105.7 presents an acoustic evening with Thom Shepherd, including special guests Wynn Varble and Coley McCabe at Daisy Dukes & Cowboy Boots on Jan. 30, 2013.

Thom Shepherd is the songwriter known for hits such as "Riding with Private Malone" and "Redneck Yacht Club," as well as a producer and artist.  The Nashville artist has had more than 10 singles and over 90 cuts by artists including Easton Corbin, Colt Ford, Bucky Covington, George Jones, Trailer Choir, Montgonery Gentry, Buddy Jewell and Cledus T. Judd.

Wynn Varble had his first #1 song "Have You Forgotten" with Darryl Worley in 2003. The song was nominated for Song of the Year by the CMA. In 2008, Waitin' on a Woman, which Wynn co-wrote with Don Sampson was nominated by the CMA for Song of the Year. His most recent #1, "I'm a Little More Country" recorded by Easton Corbin, was also nominated by the ACM for Song of the Year.

Coley McCabe is a Texas Country Singer/Songwriter currently touring in Texas and all over the country, both with her band and performing acoustic shows.  She has opened up for many major artists like Toby Keith, Wynonna, Kenny Chesney, Martina McBride, George Strait, Rascal Flatts, Brad Paisley, and more.  “This Ain’t the 60’s,” the first single from her highly anticipated new CD, is quickly climbing the Texas radio charts.

An auction will also be going on during the show to raise money for St. Jude Children's Hospital. We'll have great autographed merchandise from other hit recording artists from Nashville. Come help a great cause!
