Chocolate Gala and Wine Tasting in Cole Camp to Sample the Best of Missouri [INTERVIEW]
The 3rd Annual Chocolate Gala and Wine Tasting will be held in Cole Camp on Sunday, Jan. 19. You’d think they would have just named it “The Best Things in The World Gala,” but I guess they have to be more specific.
This is a community event of chocolates and wine tastings. Wine is delicious. Chocolate is tasty. I like those two things. Maybe I’ll like them together. That’s a chance I’m willing to take. I’ve even heard that red wine is good for you! I’m all about being healthy, obviously. I’ll do it for the children. If nothing else, any excuse to go down there and eat some great food is always welcome.
It’ll be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. at a cost of $15 a person. It’ll be held in the —-. Prizes will be given along with a silent auction. You can purchase tickets at Handel Haus, Happy Trails Antiques and Collectibles and the American Legion Building at 701 N. Main in Cole Camp.
I got to talk with Dianne Simon about what you can see, smell and taste down there for the gala.
Participating wineries include Eichenburg Winery, Wildlife Ridge Winery and LaBella Vineyards and Winery. Entertainment will be provided by Chris Kappelman and Ken Fuchs.
For more information, call Carol Rupp at 668-3675 or Teddie Schnell at 668-0834. You can also check out their Facebook page. But don’t wait ’til the last minute, because if I show up, I can’t guarantee that there will be much left for you. I’m just putting it out there as a cautionary note now.
