Before I tell you about the Johnson County Fire Auxiliary Spaghetti dinner and auction, let me tell you that I grew up in the rural areas of Knob Noster in Country Acres, and at one point, we had lightening hit our house and it caused a fire. The Knob Noster Volunteer Department came out and made sure all was okay. Ever since that moment, I realized the importance of having a good fire department around.
