Kickin’ It For A Cure Soccer Game Raises Breast Cancer Awareness [PHOTOS]

While the competition on the field was fierce, something off of the field was more exciting than winning a game off of a penalty kick shootout. The annual Kickin' It For A Cure soccer game was held at the Susie Ditzfeld Soccer Field Thursday night (April 25). The Smith-Cotton Lady Tigers played host to the Clinton Lady Cardinals. The Lady Tigers were sporting pink home jerseys in honor of the Breast Cancer Awareness Event.

Relay for Life’s Bear Auction for a Beary Good Cause

Kids, a lot of different events are happening around us for the Relay For Life.  The Relay is almost a year-round event, really, because these teams work so hard to get fundraising going.  They do everything they can think of to get members, donations and awareness out there.  The actual Relay event isn't until June, but that doesn't mean teams aren't hard at work.

Ham and Bean Dinner Supports the Sedalia Animal Shelter

Kids, as we all know, I am a sucker for animals.  Just last week, the boyfriend and I nearly walked away with a dog after an adoption event.  But rest assured, we walked away without the dog, and only because it's not feasible NOW to get one.  We will have a dog when we're not living in a one bedroom apartment.
