Behka’s Batty for Birds?

Kids, everybody seems to know I'm a cat person. I have two of them that I got from the Sedalia Animal Shelter, and they're great.  

But it might surprise you to see my little apartment.   I'm not a person who has a lot of cat stuff everywhere.  In fact, it's a completely different type of creature:  birds.

Yes, that is a bathmat that I own.  I have bird tablecloths, bird towels, bird cups, bird throw pillows (two different designs), bird brass decorations,  bird tissue boxes, bird tote bag,  bird decorative decals in my bathroom AND in my kitchen, and a little bird thing on my door.

I even have a bird bathmat.  Yes, that very bathmat.   But here's the thing: I have no idea why these things appeal to me so much. No idea!  I've never owned a bird, I never want to, and I'm happy with the animals I do have.  So what's the deal with the birds?   I don't know!  I swear, I don't know.

Maybe it's just a decorative motif I enjoy?  Maybe it's just my personal eccentricity.

Oh, and I forgot.  I have an owl apron and wallet, too.

So do you have anything like that? A strange decorative theme or preference?

Or is it just me..............
