Want To Visit Silver Dollar City In 2023? New Perks And Upgrades!
One of the most popular destinations in Missouri would have to be Branson. I have yet to visit, but it is certainly a place that I will be vacationing soon. It happens to be the home of Silver Dollar City.
Billed as America's Best Theme Park, Silver Dollar City has been creating memories worth repeating® for 60 years. Silver Dollar City Attractions also operates the Showboat Branson Belle, White Water water park and Campgrounds. Website link is HERE.
Silver Dollar City is investing $30 million in guests, parking enhancements, and employees. In a press release, they talked about $5 million in "Guest Experiences" for next season. They include:
- A new, expanded Heartland Home Furnishings where craftsmen will demonstrate the use of authentic, late-1880s equipment, such as dovetailers, lathes and saws, located through a nationwide search to replace what was lost in a 2021 fire. Heartland Home Furnishings is an important part of The City’s culture, and in preserving the US Congress designated title, Home of American Craftsmanship. The heirloom, high-quality products created include bedroom sets, desks, bookshelves, cabinetry and more. Guests will watch the craftsmen in a new highly-designed and themed furniture factory. The atmosphere will be airy with high ceilings, handcrafted wood surroundings and open spaces, but warm and cozy in appeal.
- New Fried Fancies, plus all-new waterside dining. The fresh and inviting schematics for the new Fried Fancies mark the return of the popular dining facility, but with enhanced décor, a larger footprint and the addition of a 200-seat dining area alongside a picturesque waterfall. This new eatery will excel in serving Silver Dollar City’s famous variety of funnel cakes and other family favorites.
There will also be a Student Employee Housing Project. They are partnering with Holtz Builders to build an on-sight residence hall. 3-Story building, and the students in the intern program will be able to stay there. Up to 300 students will be able to stay there, and should have just about every amenity that you could want.
Parking, Roadways and Infrastructure will also be addressed. Guest Entrance experience will be finished by 2024. More parking spots, improved entrances, and hopefully easier to get in and out and not deal with as much traffic.
Have you ever been? Does this make you excited about potentially visiting there next year or for the holidays? It does for me. I better start saving!
