Time-Lapse Video is a Visual Symphony Including Missouri Storms
You'll maybe never see storms quite the same way again. A new time-lapse video captures images of thunderstorms from many parts of America including Missouri. It's a visual symphony for the eyes that is unlike any other.
There is a reason why many on YouTube consider Mike Olbinski the master of the time-lapse weather video. His "Vorticity" series is one of the most-watched weather video series you'll find. Here's how Mike summed up what he did to make Vorticity 5:
Vorticity 5 took two years to film. Tens of thousands of miles across the central United States, from Montana to the Texas/Mexico border.
Make sure your sound is turned up for this one. It's really incredible.
Here are some images from Mike's latest effort. Breathtaking.
He even managed to capture a twister that dropped from one of the storms.
If you've somehow missed Mike's previous work, here's Vorticity 4. It's also quite a looker.
If you don't already, Mike is a highly-recommended follow on YouTube. No one makes storms look (and sound) better than him.
