Versailles Man Killed in Morgan County Accident

A Versailles man was killed in an accident in Morgan County Saturday. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 39-year-old Jason M. Cleaves was driving a 2003 Ford Contour on Route J. The vehicle traveled off the roadway, went airborne, struck a concrete bridge support and came to rest in a creek bed. Cleaves was pronounced dead at the scene just before 7 p.m.
