Frank Cagnina was named the Central Region Wrestler of the Year, after battling through plenty of adversity en route to Central Missouri history and his second-straight NCAA-II National title. The senior tore his ACL at the University of Nebraska-Kearney Open in the second week of the season, but did not let the injury slow him down, compiling a 24-1 overall record and a 9-0 dual record through his final collegiate season.  Cagnina is only the second Central Missouri wrestler to earn two national titles. In his two-year career with the Mules, Cagnina was 63-3 and undefeated in duals, for the best career winning percentage in program history.
