Two Warrensburg Residents Injured in US 50 Crash

Two Warrensburg residents were injured today in a two-vehicle accident that occurred in Johnson County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a southbound 1994 Ford on US 50 at Missouri 58, driven by 55-year-old Leslie W. Pennington of Warrensburg, failed to yield to an eastbound 2010 Buick driven by 26-year-old Codi M. Hall of Warrensburg at 12:10 p.m.

Pennington suffered serious injuries and he was transported to Research Hospital in Kansas City for treatment.

Hall had minor injuries and she refused medical treatment at the scene.

Both were wearing a safety device, according to the report.

Both vehicles were totaled.
