Move over Kenny Chesney. Motley Crue and Def Leppard want to rock the Truman Sports Complex too. Motley Crue and Def Leppard along with special guests Poison and Joan Jett and the Blackharts will play Kauffman Stadium on Tuesday Night June 23.

It's actually more like Tuesday afternoon June 23 as the start time for the show is listed as 4:30PM CDT.

If you're an 80's rock fan you're going to love this show. While Motley Crue can rock and rock hard. They've always been a very accessible and very radio friendly band, it's not like you're going to a Slayer show if you see these guys. You'll know a lot of their songs, even if you are more into Def Leppard and Poison.

Def Leppard knows how to play stadiums and enjoys it. Back in 2005-2006 they did a tour with Bryan Adams that played minor league ball parks. I've seen them three times and they always deliver a stellar show. You'll know more of their songs than you think you know too.

Opening up the show is Poison and Joan Jett. Joan's gotten rave reviews while on tour the past couple of summers and while I haven't seen Poison since the late 80's, I'd suspect they'll put on an entertaining, high energy, get your butts moving show.

If you're looking for a high energy, rocking, good time. Grow that sweet hair out, grab the Aqua Net and get ready to party at "the K" on Tuesday June 23.

Ticket prices for the show haven't yet been posted, but an on sale date for tickets has been set for 10:00AM CST Friday January 10. You can check out the Live Nation site here, and the Kansas City Royals site here for more information. The tour is also playing Busch Stadium in St. Louis on Thursday June 25.

Country star Kenny Chesney is bringing his Chillaxification Tour to the Truman Sports Complex on Saturday July 11. His tour is playing Arrowhead Stadium and special guests include Old Dominion and Florida Georgia Line. Tickets are going anywhere from $375 - $57 dollars on Ticketmaster. You can learn more about this show on the Chiefs website here.
