Two Warrensburg residents were injured in a three-vehicle wreck that occurred in Johnson County Saturday afternoon.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, two vehicles, including a motorcycle and a 1995 Chevrolet truck, were westbound at SE 691 and SE DD, while one vehicle, a 2013 Ford, was eastbound at 2:10 p.m. The motorcycle, driven by 31-year-old Dustin S. Tracy of Warrensburg, swerved near the center line. The Ford then attempted to avoid the motorcycle, crossed the center line and struck the Chevy, driven by 64-year-old David L. Baxter of Warrensburg. The Ford, driven by 32-year-old Charity N. Hatcher of Knob Noster, then struck the end of the guardrail. The motorcycle then traveled off the roadway and into a ditch.

Tracy suffered moderate injuries and was life-flighted to Research Hospital. His passenger, 26-year-old Christa Hope Arnold, suffered serious injuries and was transported to Research Hospital by EMS.

The Chevy had minor damage, while the motorcycle and Ford had extensive damage and were towed from the scene.

There were a total of four Troopers on the scene.
