Two Sedalia motorcyclists were injured Saturday afternoon in a crash that occurred in Pettis County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a southbound 2001 Suzuki Cruiser, driven by 63-year-old Benjamin F. Hinsberger of Sedalia, was on Route M at Garrison Road at 12:33 p.m., when the motorcycle entered a curve and began to overturn. The driver overcorrected and the bike began to skid. The bike then traveled off the right side of the roadway and overturned, ejecting Hinsberger and his passenger, 59-year-old Debra A. Blankenship of Sedalia.

Blankenship suffered minor injuries and was transported to Bothwell Regional Health Center for treatment.

Hinsberger suffered serious injuries and was transported to University of Missouri Hospital.

The Suzuki had minor damage.
