
Twelve Days of Christmas Contest Winner Announced
Caroline Matz is the big winner in our MIX 923 Twelve Days of Christmas contest!
Caroline, of Sedalia was notified by 923’s Behka over the phone and Caroline came to the studios to claim her prizes on Monday morning.

We got a chance to speak with Caroline, 22, when she stopped by the station:
So what made her want to enter the contest?
“Actually, I heard it on the radio and I thought I might as well try. It doesn’t hurt to try,” Caroline said. “So yeah, I’m super excited that I won it. I never expected to win.”
Caroline said she entered through the MIX 923 app, then did all the extra criteria, including like social media, visiting You Tube and everything. I did all those to sign up.”
Did that give her an advantage?
“I think it did. I did all of them, so that was more opportunities,” she noted.
What did she think when she got the call from Behka, telling her she was the big winner?
“I was very surprised. I didn’t expect to win. But I’m super excited and thankful that I won. It’s really cool,” Caroline said, adding that this is the first time she entered such a contest.

Caroline is a native of Sedalia. She graduated Smith-Cotton High School in 2021, and she is now a student at MU in Columbia studying Parks & Recreation with an emphasis in Sports and Tourism.
Her parents and her sister still live in Sedalia.
Caroline said she is going to try and use all the prizes listed above. And the ones she can’t use she will give away and “be a nice daughter and a nice friend this holiday season.”
