Trial Pushed Back for Teen Charged with Sedalia Murder
The trial for a Marshall teenager charged with a Sedalia murder has been pushed back to January 2019.
Noah A. Kelliker was arrested in January for the shooting death of 21-year old Cassandra L. White that occurred on Oak Grove Lane in Sedalia.
According to online court documents, 19-year old Kelliker is facing charges of felony 2nd Degree Murder; 2 counts for Unlawful Use of a Weapon, and Armed Criminal Action.
Kelliker was taken to Bothwell Regional Health Center at the end of June due to a medical condition. The Sedalia Democrat reports that Kelliker's attorney, Scott McGreevy, appeared in court on Tuesday for what was scheduled to be a pretrial hearing. Instead, Judge Robert Koffman approved a continuance filed by McGreevy earlier this month due to Kelliker being in the hospital, according to the Democrat.
There was no information on Kelliker's current condition.
A trail was originally set to begin August 1, but the pretrial hearing has now been scheduled to take place January 7, 2019.
The jury trail dates have now been set for January 23 - 25. 2019 in Pettis County.
Kelliker entered a not guilty plea February 5.
