‘The Price Is Right’ Is Coming To St Louis. Come On Down Tour!
If you were ever kept home from school with a sickness as a young kid, you probably had a few things you could count on. You had Ginger Ale, Saltines, Vicks VapoRub, and you were seated on the couch watching one of the greatest games shows of all time. This year The Price Is Right is coming to St Louis, and they will be there this Thursday.
The Price Is Right 50th Anniversary Nationwide “Come On Down Tour” event is from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Ballpark Village. Fans of the show can also enter for a chance to win $50,000. An opportunity to play Plinko, Let 'Em Roll, Danger Price, and so many others could be yours. You can click HERE for more info, and a chance to enter to win $50,000.
The show's current announcer George Grey will be there and he is from St Louis. It is pretty cool to think that this popular show has been on the air for 50 years. We love Bob Barker, who became a National institution. Drew Carey is the current host and has become just as popular. There is something about this show that has made it so popular. I think it is because it brings up truly average people, chosen at random, and give them a chance to win prizes. Big prizes. I did have a cousin, who made it on the show. She got out of contestants row, won a few prizes, but did not make it to the Final Showdown. So if you happen to be free and make it down there, good luck!
