Tesla Crash Claims Two Clinton Lives in Henry County
Two Clinton residents were killed in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Saturday morning in Henry County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a south bound 2023 Tesla Model S was on Missouri 8 at SW 100 Road (west of Clinton) just before 2 a.m., when the Tesla traveled off the left side of the roadway and struck several trees. The Tesla then overturned and caught fire.
The 36-year-old male driver and the 28-year-old male passenger, were both pronounced by Henry County Coroner Paul Abbott at 2:07 a.m.
The Tesla was totaled and towed.

Henry County Deputies assisted the four Troopers on scene.
This was the 7th and 8th fatality for Henry County this year.
