Zombies

Some say that a zombie apocalypse is inevitable. I don't know about that, but I do know I'd prefer to not be in St. Louis, Missouri if/when it begins. If you don't have the option to not be there, I can help you not survive with a little help from my friends.

I'm going to state something that sounds like it can't possibly be true, but it is. Millions of zombie cicadas are about to invade Illinois. It's a real thing and there's science to prove it. Oh, and they might already be on the way, too.

Finally, after a string of promo videos teasing the forthcoming vampiric epidemic, FX has released a full trailer for 'The Strain,' featuring actual footage from the new horror series. We've already seen the first photos from the premiere episode, debuting on the network this July 13, so sneak a peek at 'House of Cards'' Corey Stoll fighting off the vampire threat.

There's going to be a new event coming up this weekend that promises to be tons of fun for anybody with a bit of a flair for the macabre side of Halloween. I know zombies are particularly popular in our modern age; everything from The Walking Dead to Sprint commercials and practically every other movie these days is zombie related.  Now the zombies are coming to Sedalia, and it'll be this Saturday
