Youth Hunt

Well guys, for the last few years, Auto Glass Express has been holding a special event for the kids in our area.

I've started my blog posts with the weather every day for the last two months.  I thought the crazy weather changes were over and done with.  I can deal with a 15-20 degree temperature change, this IS Missouri.  But come on, from the 70s to the 30s?  This is just ridiculous.

We're getting set up for a great turkey season and I can't wait.  We will be having a youth hunt, then taking some adults and Wounded Warriors out this season, but our main focus this year is Eric, our good friend from the VA home in Warrensburg that is a quadriplegic.  We were close to getting a deer during deer season, but we're more confident and familiar with the equipment for turkey season, s

Is there ever going to be a level weather ride?  We've had more ups and downs than the economy.  I finally found out what all of the congressmen have in common.  They all had the same jobs before politics: they were weathermen, which means they all have a degree in B.S.

Wow, what a weekend!  The 2013 Cabin Fever Sports Show last weekend was awesome.  Thanks a lot to all of the vendors who participated, and a special thanks to you, the attendees.  We had double the attendance as the previous year, and we collected 272 pounds of food for the food pantry.  What a great way to have some fun and do some good at the same time.

Youth deer season starts this weekend, and it's going to be awesome.  The rut is starting and even though the weather is a little warmer than I like, it's my favorite time of year to hunt.

It's almost Halloween, and that means the kids and parents will be out having fun.  The key is to be safe by following these tips:

I love this time of year, it's great for everything.  Even though youth soccer is about over, I bet those kids still wish it was going on.  My best friend's son plays, and what an awesome time it is with all of the parents, grandparents and kids outside at Clover Dell Park.  It's also great to see the support for the high school football teams on those chilly nights.  I just love being outside!
