The Simpsons love to troll Missouri and especially Branson.

I suspected it all along, but now there's a map I've found that seems to prove that the state of Wisconsin is the real world home of The Simpsons after all.

I will admit that the internet claims about this Missouri place made me laugh, but I also believe they're a tad bit unfair. In a conversation about the world's most overrated places, a Missouri destination was included and was described as "If Ned Flanders Ran Vegas".

Having survived its latest challenge to eternal status quo by way of Sunday’s Girls-y premiere, The Simpsons seem poised for fewer head-turning changes this fall. That is, until Waylon Smithers finally, and officially comes out of the closet to all, while an even bigger surprise may lie ahead beyond Season 30.
