Sedalia Young Professionals elected new officers during their March 11 meeting.

Sedalia Young Professionals will host its last meeting of 2020 at 5:45 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 22 at the Heckart Family Center.

Sedalia Young Professionals will host its quarterly meeting at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 5 at the Sedalia Fire Department Headquarters conference room on West 16th Street.

Sedalia Young Professionals had another successful fall food drive, as it collected roughly 930 pounds of food for Open Door Ministries’ food pantry.

Sedalia Young Professionals will host its monthly meeting at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 3 at Convention Hall at Liberty Park.

As a community, Sedalia is always looking to grow and change.  Yes, we like to keep our traditions and history alive, but we also are always welcoming new opportunities.  That's what the core of the Sedalia Young Professionals are all about.

There are many people living in Pettis County who do not have enough food to eat. Children go to school without breakfast, families struggle to put enough on the table to go around, and people sleeping rough can't always get what they need to stay healthy.

In years past, the annual Firefighters Memorial Motorcycle Ride has been something our town has looked forward to. This year, the ride was expanded to include a whole day's worth of events that took place all over downtown Sedalia.
