Warrensburg, MO) The continuous onslaught of precipitation falling throughout the region has led Central Missouri Speedway (CMS) promoters Earl and Susan Walls to cancel events for Sunday, May 24th at CMS. Unfortunately, due to the continuing weather conditions and outlook for Monday, which was originally slated for a makeup date, CMS has also canceled the planned makeup event on Monday, May 25th.
Downtown Sedalia was the starting point of one of the most anticipated races of the year, the Sedalia Criterium. A heat advisory meant that temperatures were well into the upper nineties, and the heat index brought things well into the 100 degree range.
