License Plates

Illinois House of Representatives voted unanimously to allow old school Illinois license plates from 40 years ago to be issued again.

The state of Illinois does not really have a sense of humor and that's evident in 17 license plates they've determined are too naughty to be seen by other drivers on roads across the Land of Lincoln.

I never mean to offend. As a matter of fact, it might be best for us all if you look the other way and not look at 40 personalized Missouri license plates that were rejected by state authorities that you were never meant to see.

Missouri license plates contain a DNA strand to prevent counterfeiting and increase security.

I mean, we're not going to get TOO crazy around here, but.... just in case.  Maybe don't read this one on your lunch break at your desk.

The old Warrensburg License Office closed on August 11, 2023. New management plans to re-open the office in a new location by the end of August.

I am a fan of vehicle customization. I've seen some pretty wild details and even license plate frames in Missouri and Illinois over the years. But, did you know there's one thing you can do to your license plate that will get you busted except in Missouri?

Do all vehicles in Missouri need a license plate on the front and back of their vehicle? Sort of.

What we're talking about today is the slogans on license plates for all the states. Now being in Missouri we all know that it is the Show-Me State, but outside of Missouri are you familiar with the other states' slogans? I started going through the list and I know quite a few of them but some I had had no idea what their slogan was on the plate.

It'd just be another... thing in my house.
