Smith-Cotton High School JROTC will be hosting its 12th Annual Drill Championship competition on Saturday, 18 February 2017 from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Smith-Cotton High School.

The Children’s Therapy Center’s 8th Annual Turkey Trot 5K Fun Run/Walk  is coming up.  The Deadline is November 7th if you'd like to have a  t-shirt to remember it by.  This great cause needs you, that means you've gotta get off your hind quarters and get to walking or jogging!

Wonderful readers, we as Americans love pork.  It's our right as citizens to eat pig in all of it's different incarnations.  We deserve it.

When I first started here at the radio station, I was working part time on weekends.  I was still in college, and wasn't sure where I wanted to go or what exactly I wanted to do.  I knew I wanted to do something in the broadcasting world, but I wasn't sure what.

Recently we were informed of a three-year old little boy nicknamed Little Izaiah that was found to have a tumor and died shortly after it was discovered .  Friends of the family have put together a fundraiser through 'Go Fund Me' to help offset the medical expenses...

The Pettis County Extension do a little bit of everything.  They offer all sorts of services to people in agriculture, kids working for the future, and to all the people of Pettis County.

One of the big parts of childhood is symbolized in a balloon. I don't wanna get too deep here, but there's got to be a parallel with how light and fragile a balloon is and the tender delicacy of a kid's innocence.

Pie.  It's delicious.  Sometimes, it's nutritious.  And, it's a fun word to say.  PIE.   So that's why it's a big deal that The Central Missouri Agriculture Club is having their 11th Pie Contest.
