Fourth of July

Sedalia celebrated the Fourth of July in grand fashion through the day. The celebration started with a parade in Downtown Sedalia, hosted by Terry Cockrell, at 10 am. Today is a day to celebrate our country and the freedom that we have. While we're out enjoying the fireworks, remember to take the time to thank and think of our fine men and women in the Armed Forces that are out protecting the freedom that we enjoy...

The only Fourth of July episode of anything worth mentioning is the series finale of ‘The Wonder Years.’ Airing on May 12, 1993, an epilogue set during a Fourth of July parade became one of the most memorable television moments of the last 25 years.

Kids, everybody knows that summer is here.  Although I told you that I pretty much hate the weather this time of year, there is one thing everyone enjoys, even an old curmudgeon like me: fireworks!  We here in Sedalia love a good fireworks show, regardless of the time of year.  Our 4th of July fireworks display is excellent every year.
