Sedalia's donut scene is about to get a fresh shake-up. Who knew a mobile truck could bring so much excitement?

Having been born and raised in Missouri, it's not news to me that things are done differently here. But, even I was a little surprised when self-proclaimed internet experts said the best donut in Missouri is a square one.

McDonald's will soon be serving Krispy Kreme Doughnuts throughout its stores in Sedalia, Warrensburg and all across Missouri thanks to a new partnership.

I posed the question of who has the best donuts in Sedalia and Warrensburg on my show Wednesday. There was one definitive answer.

"They" might need to be consulted.

The Donut Palace has earned a great reputation here in Sedalia - and a lot of us were pretty sad when we heard it was gone.
