Donuts

I posed the question of who has the best donuts in Sedalia and Warrensburg on my show Wednesday. There was one definitive answer.

"They" might need to be consulted.

209 East Broadway Boulevard, an empty building sat there for nearly two years, but we all knew the location, we all knew the famous hamburgers that were flipped there and we can all still see Griffy with his chef's toque and stars in his eyes. That building is now occupied by Yummy's Donuts. They provide donuts, croissants, kolaches, coffee and other drinks.

The Donut Palace has earned a great reputation here in Sedalia - and a lot of us were pretty sad when we heard it was gone.

We had a great turnout, as expected, for the Grand Opening Celebration at The Donut Palace in Sedalia this morning. How cool is it to have a job that pays me to take off from the usual "in-studio" morning show to go hang out with some really cool people making donuts, long-johns, bear claws, breakfast sandwiches and croissants for a couple of hours?
