About 20 people gathered outside the Stauffacher Center on the State Fair Community College campus for the "Speak Out Against Domestic Violence" candlelight vigil on October 23.  While the wind prevented the candles from staying lit, the speakers didn't disappoint.

The Pettis County C.A.S.A. (Citizens Against Spousal Abuse) is holding their B.A.D. Ass. (Bikers Against Domestic Assault) Poker Run on Saturday June 9.  Registration for the ride starts at 9 a.m. at Liberty Park in Sedalia, and will leave at 10:30 a.m. The stops will be in Tipton, Stover, Lincoln, Windsor and will end at 6 p.m. at The End Zone in the Thompson Hills Shopping Center.
