The 2014 Cabin Fever Sports Show is just around the corner, and that means the Huntin' and Fishin' with Harry and Jam Marketing Indoor 3D Archery Shoot is back, sponsored by Mossy Oak Properties in Cole Camp.

The 2014 Cabin Fever Sports Show is coming up on Feb. 1-2 with all kinds of fun stuff. One of the things that will be taking place is a 3D archery shoot, which should be pretty cool. I just recently got into archery but still don't know much about it. So to get ready for the Sports Show, I was looking online for some tips and stumbled upon this awesome video of drive-by archery.

A few weeks ago, Huntin' Harry took me out to shoot his bow a little so he could warm up for a tournament. Well I shot about two arrows and was hooked immediately. I decided I wanted to get in to this archery thing. Luckily, Harry knew just the place to go: Rusty Toad Archery in Smithton.

This weekend I went on my first adventure out of Sedalia! I tagged along with Huntin' Harry and headed to Gusher Days in Sweet Springs. Man was it fun!

What did I tell you?  We're out of the cooler and into the fire with mid-90s this week.  What the heck happened to the mid-80s?  Oh well, I guess it couldn't last, but it's summertime and that means getting outside, hitting the great outdoors and having a redneck good time (no pun intended, you'll be getting a red neck from the sunburn).

The Cabin Fever Sports Show will host over 65 different booths from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Feb. 2 and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Feb.3 at the Mathew Exhibition Center on the State Fairgrounds.  The show will have booths, contest, door prizes, and raffle prizes to entertain the whole family.

It's sports show time!  The 2013 Cabin Fever Sports Show will kick off (no Super Bowl pun intended) on Saturday, Feb. 2 at 10 a.m. and run through 8 p.m.  We'll be back out there until 3 p.m. on Sunday so you can get back home in time for the Super Bowl (where the Ravens will win by 7).

Bow season starts Saturday, September 15!  I'm already in pre-rut.  We're getting lots of great pics for our Trail Cam Contest every day.  Thank you for sending those photos.  It's looking like you voters will have your hands full!

The weather is great and the archers are all getting ready for bow season.  I'm stoked, I've been seeing a lot of good bucks and great does.  As a member of PETA... that's People Eating Tasty Animals, I like to fill my freezer with the does.  They're tasty and really healthy for you.
