I hope everyone had a great weekend last week and that all of the moms had an even greater Mother's Day. We had our kids Fishin' for a Cure that weekend at Liberty Park, and it was awesome. It was packed with over 100 kids and lots of families with everyone enjoying the outdoor activities.

Rusty Toad Archery was there and was a big hit.  They had kids shooting bows all day long and had lots of families interested.  Thanks to all of the event sponsors, KIX 105 and 92.3 BOB-FM.  Ken Dillon did a great job and we look forward to working with him on more events.  Thanks to the Hair Salon & Spa of Sedalia for the Mother's Day prize package.  The drawing had over 40 moms enter and gave away some really nice gifts.

Sunday is the State Fair Archery Appreciation Shoot.  We'll have lots of prizes from Sims course paying back 50%, long shoot for a big trophy and great food.  Pray for good weather and sign up between 7-11 a.m.

The Honor Flight Radiothon starts this Monday, so please be generous and send our heroes to see their memorials in Washington D.C.  WW II, Korean and Vietnam war vets get to go at no charge, so let's open that checkbook and make donations to those who gave and continue to give all they can give so we can live in the land of the free.  Remember, freedom isn't free, it's one of the most expensive things we can enjoy, because the price is the lives of United States Military servicemen.  God bless America.

See ya next week, and don't forget to send me your fishing stories so we can get you on the show with us, telling your story to our listeners!
