On Tuesday, Jan. 24 at approximately 6:37 p.m., the Sedalia Police Department's Crime Resolution Unit conducted a traffic stop in the area of West 32nd Street and Aaron Avenue.

The traffic stop was the result of a joint drug investigation with the Johnson County Crime Resolution Team.

The driver of the vehicle was arrested for No Operator’s License.

K9 “Ace” was deployed and alerted to the presence of narcotics in the vehicle.

A search of the vehicle returned a substantial amount of methamphetamine and fentanyl, along with marijuana and drug paraphernalia,

The suspect and charges being requested are as follows:

Angela Barber-Cox, 61 years old:

Trafficking Drugs, 2nd Degree (Methamphetamine)
Trafficking Drugs, 2nd Degree (Fentanyl)
Delivery of a Controlled Substance x2
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
No Operator’s License
