The Sacred Heart Gremlins soccer team faced a familiar rival Thursday evening at Clover Dell Park.

With a 0-0 tie at halftime, it was uncertain who would come away with the win.

St. Paul scored six minutes into the second half. The Saints scored again about three minutes later.  Sacred Heart was called with a penalty against St. Paul and they scored again making it 3-0 with 23 minutes left to play.

The Gremlins only goal came from an Ian Viscara assist to senior Bruno Saucedo to make the final score 3-1.

St. Paul Lutheran Concordia is now 9-0.

Sacred Heart traveled to Columbia Saturday afternoon to play Christian Fellowship, winning 10-2.

Sacred Heart plays Green Ridge (0-6) today at 5 p.m. at home.
