Sedalia Police Searching for Witnesses to Motorcycle Crash

Sedalia Police are asking for any witnesses to a crash that occurred Thursday on the east side of town to contact the SPD.

According to Ofc. Victoria Kottman of the SPD's Traffic Unit, officers were dispatched to an injury collision involving a motorcycle at Broadway and Merriam at 5:30 p.m.

The report indicates that a 2015 motorcycle driven by 26-year-old Artem Dudkin of Smithton collided with a 2009 Dodge Journey driven by 57-year-old Timothy Wheeler of Sedalia.

Dudkin sustained serious injuries as a result of the wreck and was transported to University of Missouri Hospital and Clinics by Pettis County Ambulance for advanced medical care. At the time of the report, Dudkin was listed in stable condition and his family was contacted.

The collision is currently under investigation. Any witnesses to the accident are urged to contact the SPD's Traffic Unit at (660) 826-8100.
