Sedalia Man Injured in Pettis County Crash

A Sedalia man was injured in a two-vehicle crash that occurred Monday in Pettis County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a southbound 2005 Chevy Tahoe, driven by 51-year-old Steven J. Kimbrell of Sedalia, was on Highway MM, south of Whitfield Road at 5:20 p.m., when it crossed the center line and struck a northbound 2018 GMC Yukon Denali, driven by 57-year-old James P. Staus of Tipton.

Both vehicles traveled off the roadway.

Kimbrell suffered minor injuries, and refused treatment on scene.

The GMC had extensive damage, while the Chevy was totaled.

Pettis County Deputies assisted the Patrol.
