Sedalia Man Arrested on Child Molestation and Sexual Misconduct Charges

On the morning of August 23rd, Deputies were dispatched to 5464 South Limit Avenue to conduct a warrant check. KSIS originally reported on this story on August 27th. After arriving on scene, Deputies made contact with a male subject in an RV camper along the back side of the park. The male’s information was checked with JCOMM, and the warrant was confirmed. The warrant was filed on August 16th, 2024. The indictment states that between May 1st of 2014 and January of 2019, the suspect had repeated sexual contact with a victim he knew to be under the age of fourteen.
While the first allegation took place in May of 2014, three more took place in January of 2016 with another three alleged in January of 2019. In those incidents, the suspect allegedly exposed his genitals, touched her breasts, grabbed her hand to force her to touch him, and touched her genitals over and under her clothes. Paul Davis Gammill, 47, of Sedalia, was placed under arrest and transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked in. Gammill was given three charges of Child Molestation in the First Degree, two counts of Child Molestation in the 3rd Degree, and two counts of Sexual Misconduct Involving a Child Under the Age of 15. All charges are felonies, and the cause, as of this writing, is continued by agreement until October of 2024. Gammill remains in custody at the Pettis County Jail, with bond set at $250,000 cash or surety.
