A 15-year-old Sedalia boy was injured in a one-vehicle accident that occurred Saturday afternoon in Pettis County.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that a 15-year-old male from Sedalia, was the driver of a southbound 2001 Dodge Dakota, around 230 p.m., when the driver failed to negotiate a curve at 21348 Walnut Grove Road, (west of Route MM) and traveled off the right side of the road. The vehicle then returned to the roadway and the driver overcorrected, traveled off the right side of the roadway again, and struck a tree.

The juvenile suffered minor injuries and refused treatment on scene.

The Dodge had minor damage, and was towed by Don's Truck Towing.
