Smith-Cotton High School senior Dane Foster has accepted an athletic scholarship to play basketball at Kansas City (Kan.) Community College.

Foster, the son of Rhiannon Foster, is a three-year letter winner in basketball for the Tigers and was an All-District selection in the 2020-2021 season. He averaged 13 points, 4.1 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game for the Tigers.

S-C Boys Basketball Head Coach Michael Franklin said, “Dane has been part of the basketball program for four years, contributing on varsity for three of those years. He has been a vital part of the program and will be missed. I am excited for his opportunity to play at the next level; I know he will do great things.”
