Hey Royals fans, here's something cool coming up for you to help your community and also get some sweet Royals swag.

The Community Blood Center is hosting two blood drives next week, and there's an added bonus for anybody that's a Kansas City Royals fan... or even somebody who knows a Royals fan.

They're going to have a Blood Drive on Monday, June 13th from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and then another one on Tuesday the 14th, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.  It'll be held at the First Christian Church, 200 South Limit Avenue.

Now the flyer doesn't say you HAVE to make an appointment, but it does say appointments are encouraged.  So I would err on the side of caution and go ahead and make an appointment.  You can do that by going to savealife.org/group and enter in the Group Code: SD.   It's pretty simple and easy.  Then you just show up at the time you like, do the standard "Hey, are you okay" temp and blood pressure checks, and bam.  You've saved up to three different lives in the span of about a forty five minutes.

And the sweet part for Royals fans?  Presenting donors get a Together Royal limited edition t-shirt.  So keep in mind, even if you don't like the Royals, maybe you can get a shirt and keep it to give to someone in your life.  Maybe it's an added bonus gift for Father's Day?  Maybe it's a little something to sneak in with a birthday gift at a birthday party on someone's birthday with a birthday gift.

If you prefer calling, you can always contact Marge Watson and get some questions answered at 660-827-2200.  Either way, get on it and get donatin!

Donatingly yours,
Behka
