Rob's Off the Trail Tracks: 'Are You Leaving With Him?'

The Off the Trail Tracks keep chugging along, and this week we feature the guy who pretty much rules country music right now, Luke Bryan. Ol' Luke has just released his annual spring break EP, 'Spring Break 6: Like We Ain't Ever,' and of course, it debuted at number one, because, well, it's Luke Bryan.

The EP contains just six songs, so it's kind of hard to get a really "deep" cut, but considering three of the songs from the EP have already charted in the Country Top 40, I feel comfortable with my Off the Trail selection 'Are You Leaving With Him?'.

Honestly, it's a little weird. It has some sort of strange electronic instrumental that I'd expect to hear in an Owl City song, not country music. It's also a pretty generic topic of "Hey that guy's not nice to you, but I'll be nice to you, so you should be with me instead of that mean guy." However, the vocals are really strong, and the chorus gets pretty loud and powerful.
