Rob’s Off the Trail Tracks – Jerrod Niemann’s ‘Donkey’

We missed our Off the Trail Track last week due to me getting super busy right before the Easter holiday, but this week we are back with a really fun one off of Jerrod Niemann's new album 'High Noon.'

I felt like we had to use Jerrod Niemann since we haven't yet, and he's been in the spotlight for a little bit now. 'High Noon' was released a month ago and is still one of the top selling country albums. The first single 'Drink to That All Night' went all the way to number one and is still a top five song. So we need to show Jerrod some love.

'High Noon' is a solid album. Neimann's voice really stands out, the beats are catchy, and the whole thing is pretty laid back for the most part. For our Off the Trail Track I went with 'Donkey,' a weird song that I'm pretty sure was recorded as a joke. It's about riding an actual donkey to the bar and how cool it is.
