This Thanksgiving, I had the chance to head to the Plaza in Kansas City with my friend Kevin Walker and his nephews for the annual KCP&L Plaza Lighting. It was actually my first time at the Plaza, and it was a lot of fun.

We got there pretty early, grabbed ourselves some hot chocolate and found a good spot in the front row by the stage. There was tons of entertainment: Kansas City Chiefs Cheerleaders, a choir, live music, ballet performances, and tons of giveaways. Chiefs punter Dustin Colquitt was there, along with Kansas City native actor/comedian Rob Riggle.

It was a lot of fun, the Plaza looked amazing all lit up with Christmas lights, and Kevin got some great pictures as always. Check them out below.
