Portion of Beacon Shut Down This Week for Stormwater Drainage Improvement Project

Beginning on Monday, Feb. 10, and continuing through Friday, Feb. 14, South Beacon Ave. from West 11th Street to West 14th St. will be closed intermittently to through traffic from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., for the City of Sedalia’s Stormwater Drainage Improvement Project.

Heavy equipment and workers will be in the area working on a stormwater improvement project. Travelers in the area are advised to find an alternate route to their destination.

The work is weather dependent and inclement weather may result in the work being rescheduled to a later date.
