Police Investigating Reported Sex Crime on Missouri State Fairgrounds

Sedalia Police took a report on the morning of August 12 of an alleged sex crime that took place in a public restroom on the Missouri State Fairgrounds.

According to a news release, a sexual assault on a juvenile that took place on August 11 was reported to police around 9 a.m. the next morning. Police say no arrests have been made.

The Missouri State Fair says that they are aware of the reported incident and that the Sedalia Police Department is investigating.
