On Saturday, May 29, Dennis G. Steele of Smithton reported to the Pettis County Sheriff's Office that someone punctured his son's vehicle's tires while parked overnight at a friend's house in Smithton.


 

On May 27, Pettis County Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the 3200 block of W. 16th in Sedalia for improper vehicle registration. The driver, identified as Brandon Miller of Sedalia, was arrested on an outstanding probation violation warrant out of Saline County. A passenger in the vehicle, Tandra Neighbors of Sedalia, was also arrested on two failure to appear warrants out of Pettis County.


 

On April 12, a victim came to the Pettis County Sheriff's Office to report identity theft. The victim said that over a three-month period from October 2020 through December 2020, accounts had been opened in his name and charged over $10,000.
