Pettis County Sheriff’s Reports For May 10, 2022

Sunday night, Pettis County Deputies conducted a warrant check in the 1900 block of South Lamine Avenue. Deputies spotted Blake Hollon, 23, of Sedalia in the area. Hollon was placed under arrest and transported to the Pettis County Jail. Hollon was booked in on a Pettis County warrant for Possession of Drug Paraphernalia - Prior Drug Offense.

Saturday morning, Deputies with the Pettis County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to Hughesville for a report of a vehicle driving through ditches in town. Deputies located the suspect's vehicle. Subsequently, Daniel Leisen, 37, of Hughesville, was arrested. Leisen was transported to the Pettis County Jail and placed on a 24 hour hold pending formal charges of: Driving While Revoked, Property Damage in the 2nd Degree, Trespassing in the 2nd Degree, Failure to Show Proof of Insurance, Failing to Register a Motor Vehicle, and Operating a Vehicle in a Careless and Imprudent Manner.

Deputies conducted a traffic stop in the area of US 50 and Highway MM on Sunday morning on a vehicle for exceeding the speed limit. Earnest L. Brown, 40, of Sedalia, was arrested. Brown was transported to the Pettis County Jail to be booked and released on charges of Driving While Revoked.

Pettis County Deputies conducted a traffic stop on a black Chevrolet Tahoe Saturday morning in the area of West Broadway Boulevard and Oak Grove Lane. The vehicle was entering into a lane over which was a red signal was shown. The driver, who was not named in the report, was issued two citations for the traffic stop - No Operator's License and No Proof of Insurance. The driver gave consent to search the vehicle, which led to the discovery of an illegal substance. The passenger, who was also not named in the report, was arrested and transported to the Pettis County Jail. He was placed on a 24 hour hold pending charges of Possession of a Controlled Substance.

Monday afternoon, Deputies took a report of fraud from the 23000 block of Highway 127 in La Monte.
