This is a compilation of reports released by the Pettis County Sheriff's Office:

On Monday, July 5 at 6:37 p.m., the Pettis County K9 Unit conducted a traffic stop at 7th and Harrison in Sedalia. The passenger, who was identified as Pierre D. Sams, was arrested for tampering with physical evidence and possession of marijuana. Sams was transported to the Pettis County Jail.


 

On Monday, July 5, at 5:18 p.m., the Pettis County K9 Unit was northbound on US 65, just south of Thornleigh, when a traffic stop was conducted and the driver, Homer Lucas, was arrested for driving while revoked or suspended.


 

On Monday, July 5 at 5:16 p.m., Candice Keele reported to the Pettis County Sheriff's Office that a person known to her took her battery booster and cigarette case.


 

On Sunday, July 4, Pettis County Deputies took a report of an out-of-state warrant in the Pettis County Jail. Derek A. Thomas was arrested and placed on a 24-hour hold for possession of a controlled substance. A warrant for Fugitive From Justice was filed with the Pettis County Prosecutor's Office, pending formal charges.


 

On Sunday, July 4, Pettis County Deputies stooped a vehicle driven by Stephen Anthony Zingre of Sedalia for a traffic violation. A computer check revealed Zingre was wanted on a warrant, He was then placed under arrest and transported to the Pettis County Jail.


 

On Sunday, July 4, Pettis County Deputies arrested 52-year-old David Houk of Windsor for an outstanding Pettis County warrant.


 

On Saturday, July 3 at 10:32 p.m., Pettis County Deputies arrested 23-year-old Christopher D. Wright of Raytown. He was stopped for failure to dim his headlights. Wright was found to be driving while revoked and was also wanted on an active warrant by the Missouri State Highway Patrol. Wright was released on summons for driving while revoked, but arrested for the Patrol warrant and transported to the Pettis County Jail and held on a $4,500 bond.


 

On Saturday, July 3, Pettis County Deputies arrested 44-year-old Michael Barnett of Sedalia for driving 108 miles per hour on West Broadway and Granny's Lane.
